I think she holds them just fine, It depends on the style of the scissors I would say. With my shears you have your index finger resting in front of the loop, the middle finger goes through the loop and your ring finger resting behind the loop on the metal arm. Your little finger can go wherever, I use mine to sort of keep balance when using scissors/shears.

Did anyone notice that she isn’t holding her shears properly!!!!! She’s holding them like scissors. She should have her pinkie on the little arm so that she has more control of the shears.
She get’s an extra point for controlling the shears with her Thumb!!!! That’s good!!!

There’s NO way I can cut the back of my own hair that evenly. The front and sides aren’t a problem.
